Chance (and Tyler) worked so hard to keep us on track with the loan process. We had many questions because we were first time home buyers but he remained patient with us and answered all our questions. He is very knowledgeable and stayed positive the whole time. There are times we doubted ourselves but he believed in us and helped us all the way to the very end. We truly appreciate the team's hard work in helping us make our dreams come true! A shout out also to Sam who helped us bring our credit to a good spot so we can get started.
Communicating with my team was difficult. Understanding each other in a rush was difficult. Understanding the loss i took afterwards and still paying out of pocket because one aspect was better than the other and then being told to have 6k at closing to make up for what i was informed that i would be receiving money back. Big jumps with not the correct information being passed. Had i known before i closed instead of after i would have said no to alot more. Its okay now, house is mine but i would not recommend VU as a team to a first time homeowner. I would recommend they find a team that understands, communicates efficiently and breaks down barriers to build a relationship for future growth. I didn’t receive any of that with VU.
They are easy to talk to and very helpful because I didn’t know how it works. Everyone on the team was supportive and called back when I had questions. I can’t wait to recommend Veteran United for a VA loan.

We weren't working with a realtor yet, so he even arranged a meeting with a local realtor in the Norfolk area. She was fantastic, and they worked together seamlessly throughout the entire process! Phil was so quick to get back to us, answer questions, and was always thorough in his explanations and updates. He worked on several hurdles to get us into the final closing, and went to great lengths to ensure that we were in our new home before Christmas! We really appreciate all of his team's hard work. The home buying process was very smooth.
Working with the Veteran's united team was great. I think I had 4 or 5 people working for/with me on my purchase. They were all very professional and communicated well to keep me up to date on the progress of my purchase, even when we ran into a few issues with the VA. But my team fought hard on my behalf and worked with the VA to get my loan approved with minimal delay.
