The absolute best ever team
Our experience with Veterans United home loans has been great. I recall when I ask Matt if we could qualify for a larger amount due to homes being taken in a rather quick manner. Matt was eager to assist us and I qualified for the amount needed. As a veteran I would just like to say "thank you" for everything you've done for us. I'm a retired reservist with 28 years of service in the Air Force and as we say in the Air Force "Aim High" you guys have really accomplished this.
From beginning to end, using Veterans United was seamless. They had the best, no nonsense rate for me and the online documents page made it extremely easy to keep tabs on where I was in the process.

First year I had people calling and helping. Once we found a place, it was like a ghost town except Carl. He is the only reason I stayed with veterans United.
If I knew the interest rates were set, I'd search and use other places. No competitive deals. The interest rates are hidden from search engines with advertising.
I like the cool monogram blanket, not so much about me being in the Navy, maybe that's the color but I'm not Navy.
The appraisal never tested anything or adhered to VA requirements. The requirements are available to read on VA site. No working smoke detectors in home just to start.

I also appreciate you bringing up your concerns about interest rate transparency and the VA appraisal. While the VA appraisal helps confirm a home’s value, it doesn’t serve as a full home inspection or test systems in the house. That’s why we always encourage a separate home inspection before closing to make sure everything’s in working order, like smoke detectors.

Easy process and very user friendly.
We have been truly blessed by the outstanding professionalism and determination of Jeff and Shan. They spent many hours, days and then months working on our loan. They showed us sincere love and concern for us while we traveled this journey. We had many unforeseen obstacles placed in our way and they never gave up on us. They worked tirelessly to help us obtain our dream of owning a home. They prayed for us while we waited to overcome our difficult circumstances. They gave us Hope during the times that we did not see the light at the end of the tunnel. Through it all, we have been grateful that God placed Jeff and Shan in our lives.
